...now I have 3. Ok sooo where do I start? the bike doesn't run...probably hasn't for years. Turns over, no obvious dents or damage....rolls real nice not much else.
You remove and thoroughly clean the fuel tank, replace the fuel hoses in the tank and replace the fuel filter, and replace the fuel pump's vibration damper if it doesn't grip the pump. Clean or replace the pump's screen also. Using DeoxIT D5, you clean every electrical connector—including the LE-Jetronic and the ignition control unit plugs, clean all terminals connected to the plate—and the plate itself—that is the main ground connection under the frame backbone. Clean the battery ground connection attached to the transmission, the battery terminals and connections, the alternator terminals and connectors, and the starter connections. Check for electrical continuity from the fuel injection relay to the fuel pump.
When you're finished with that, you can try to start it again.

Let us know when that happens.
