Sounds like the temperature sensor is faulty or a bad connection. A known problem with bricks, there is a test procedure for the switch on this site.
But before you do this clean the connection and make sure it is not loose.

Yep.wont run for 15minutes with them reversed...OP image shows them clearly, connected correctly.

I checked the resistance of the sensor at the EFI plug and actual sensor. 70*F and got 2.4k ohms. So the senser and wiring are both good.

Still no improvement. I pulled the cover on the HES and noticed this part of the plastic to be white. Has anyone seen this before?

After checking all that I could, decided to get a Efi ecu from ebay. Bike started right up and is running great.
