k75 clutch cable adjustment

I've found a number of written descriptions for adjusting the clutch cable on a k75, here and other places, but I can't find any videos. Chris Harris has a video, and it seems it would work for the K75, but he says that it's not for the K75.

Anyone seen this video? How is the procedure presented in the Chris Harris video different then the procedure for adjusting the k75 clutch? I'm sure i can make it work without one, but I really find the videos easier to understand.

AFAIK the only difference between K75's and others is the dead travel on the handlebar lever.
K75's 2mm, all others 4mm.

I was thinking. the 'free play' part of the cable adjustment is sometimes a matter of personal choice on japanese bikes. Is it different for bmw'S? i could see how you need some free play as to not burn your clutch out, but does it matter how much free play the clutch has after that? does it matter that you 'should' have 2mm on the k75, but you put in 4mm of free play?

Not really (in my view). Only difference between the K100 and the K75, as far as the clutch is concerned, is that the clutch parts themselves slightly different are (spring disk etc) and that the clutch push rod is slightly different (can't be removed from the rear of the gearbox), but I see that clearance more as an operational thing than absolute science. However, you need to realize that a wearing/worn down clutch will reduce the clearance, so if it was OK first and you don't have clearance now it's time to have a look at your friction disk.
