ebbetts and sonora opened today... tioga is open to may lake... this one is gonna be baddassedd....

saturday route... ksu 6am "a" comfort inn mariposa... gonna roll out the little dragon... grizzley hill wards ferry... sheep ranch... carson monitor ebbetts monitor sonora... overnight in bridgeport...



sunday route...

roll down to mono lake and checkout the soada lake weirdness... 120e benton crossing june lake tioga olmsted point glacier point... roll the little dragon again... yesser it that good... split up as necessary near coulterville...

That weekend I would "typically" be nearby - camping at 8,000', 11 miles due west of Big Pine and hanging with a core group of High School hooligans reliving the "old days".
Beware it is also the weekend of the Eastern Sierra Trout Season Opener (another reason I would be in Big Pine) and there will be hordes of drunken fishermen travelling 395 from Thursday through Monday (DAMHIK).
No snowpack means no skiers headed to Mammoth this year but there are also the mountain bikers that inhabit the area.
And this is also (usually) the same weekend as the Laughlin River Run, so there will be plenty of Garage Queens and Poseurs littering 395 from top to bottom as well.

I will be in Mariposa April 25 - 27.
Doing a major remodel on the house.
I have been going up there almost every week.
I'm getting Burnt Out.
We installed new trusses last weekend.
New Roof should be done this week.
You are welcome to come by have a Brewsky.
Maybe we could hook up for a Breakfest, Lunch or Dinner.

Sadly, circumstances prevent me from attending the Big Pine Bash commonly known to perennial attendees as The Trip of the Century again this year (I'm missing too many lately even though this is the 38th year).

That also means I won't be able to roll wit y'allz either....  :(

Looks good...  pending nuclear holocaust, I'll be up there Friday afternoon for any evening pre-motodebauchery to be had.  Probably split off at Coulterville on Sunday...  we'll have to keep an eye on the weather and hopefully the Big Giant Brain won't f up our plan.  :nono

this is stockton ca... look at their webpage... 3 stages... the main stage is all white bands... the mlk stage is all black bands and the aztec stage is all latino bands... last year there was a giant rumble... had to call in the riot squad from skankromental... is was whack...
