Okay got another inquiry about something I've run across. Can anyone tell me anything about the backrest on this K100, is it a BMW part or after-market, can one be had for my K1100rs?

That is an old school now out of production after market rack and back rest by I believe Reynolds? Some one here will know the mfr and if you search this site you can see it referenced a few times.

looks like a Reynolds Rack with backrest. Very nice rack when you can find them.

Yes, it sure looks like a Reynolds. I have a Reynolds rack on my Airhead. Very nice stuff, but long out of production and hard to find.

There's one on ebay now, no backrest and a little pricey. They do show up once in a while. Also possible someone selling a bike with one might sell it separately.
