Nothing is as tough as the Line X truck bed liner. It should run ya between 70 & 100 bucks.
The quote from the guy in my area was on the high side, but they acted like it was a HUGE favor to do it for me. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm, bad vibes, no thanks.
I went the Rustolum store bought can route. I did NOT do the entire cowl, just the lower portion as the paint on the upper is OK.
#1 wash #2 tape off line to mark the area I want coated with blue painters tape #3 use 120 grit foam sanding block to REALLY rough up the paint, actually went down to the base in places #4 wipe with Brake clean or similar ether based product to remove ANY way residue #5 spray coat per instructions on Rustoleum can, at least 2 coats #6 let set overnight. #7 pull off blue painters tape #8 Add pin stripes #9 re-install and ride.
After 2 weeks of warm weather it's OK to apply a protectorant over the newly spray area to repel dirt and keep it easier to clean. I use Turtle Wax Ice products. They leave no white residue. I don't thing you have to do this last part with a Line X coating. It's always shiny and tough. Also of note, I need to touch mine up annually for chips and wear. But! It only takes me a couple hours and the $8 for another can.
I also could not resist and added that chrome plastic edging to set off the grill openings.
Looks like this...

And finally with the now black powder coated wheels.
