 Really wish I found this site last year, I'll post the pix I have along with some notes along the way. should run a page so bear with me.This is the picture when I first got her.

 First thing I did was tear it down,

]it had a bunch of electrical problems, low an behold this is what I found!

 Turns out some field mice had an all night buffet snacking on the wiring harness! :lets-eat:

After mending the wiring harness, I went right too the rear spline,just in time I might add.

Ocourse with a 6 year barn find..the seat ''mike corbin'' was in need of repair. I farmed that out for 90 bucks, The farings and windscreen were beyond repair......fiberglass cracked and broken, I decided too modify the triple tree with a kinda new look, an after market parts.

 Pretty much the avitar is what it looks like today, I used never -ceaze for the mid and rear splines.........(calm down.  I got the bmw lube in it now) All synthetic fluids thruout.

 I had a more better write up, but that web site went bye-bye, Seems the heart of the site (Shannon ) was killed in a freak motorcycle accident, back in 2005.......and the site limped along and then dropped out, off the net.
 (www.bmwforums.net) It's not an active site and is not able to load.

Last but not least was the rear shock, it was spent. So I found one for just under 200 bucks. And it's a progressive.

 well it's been awhile. Looking at a new/used water pump. I moved the faring in a little too. Bike sat for three weeks and lo an behold .......water seal leak......summabiotch......oh well.....I'll post pix later . Raining right now :yow

 :mbird now for the latest.....water pump has been working flawlessly since the swap......changed the fuel filter ,new tires, brakes,......bike is running great. :clap:

 I'm putting a graphite mixture on the pads, s'posed ta stop the squealing.....also greaseing the rear of said pads....gotta be careful not to get any grease on the rotors!

Been an interesting winter, had the bike out a few times......battery looks like it may be on it's last leg. still holds a charge and starts...but it has no reserve to it.Bike is running good even with the old fuel.

since I didn't no the pedigree of the existing rubber.....I had the tires changed just before the winter set in. metzlers.
