Not Klassic but a K all the same....  I got this 86 75C through a friend last year. It was Dead. Six months of dicking around (dirty work and money) got it back on the road.

Many'o'purdy bikes in this thread. I love'em all. This one stirs my soul in that special sort of way  :bmwsmile  If it ever becomes for sale, please let me know.
current: 1992 K75RT ABS and elec windshield, baby!

previous: 1992 K75, 1983 R100, five spooo-ooort bikes, a Sportster, two XS650 Specials....and probably a partridge in a pear tree somewhere along the way

Ok, I took a gamble and traded my 82 XT 550 on this 85 K 100 RS, the FY bike.  It has been at the coast of Oregon a while, so it has a lot of coast yuck on it, and rust is having it's way with it, but Bob to the rescue, I can rebuild it!!!

It has electrical issues, not dash, starter is funky, and the paint is poor, but hey it is almost winter and the guy tossed in a new set of Lasertecs, just what I need for my 89 K 100 RS. so I am happy as can be!!

Realized I never posted a pic of my bike. Can't find my more recent ones, but here's a pic from when the guy I bought it from pulled it out to sell about 7 years ago (No, I don't ride in conditions like this!).

Hi this is my K75s which I bought last summer, since this picture was taken I have raised the bars slightly for more  comfort. It has now done 26,000 miles was made in 1990 and has a full service history. It took a while for me to fall in love with the 750 as I have always had large capacity bikes, but eventually I realised it does everything I need without the expense or the weight penalty of the big stuff.
Don't wait now is the time, enjoy.

Present participle of fettle.

fettle (plural fettles)

A state of proper physical condition; kilter or trim.
    One's mental state; spirits.
Sand used to line a furnace.
(Geordie, Cumbrian) A person's mood or state, often assuming the worst.
(UK, dialect) The act of fettling.

That looks like a sweet ride.  I really like those Pichler's on a K, wish they were not so scarce or I would have gotten one.
