That one is a Cortech Super 14 liter.  I bought it last year when the zippers blew out on my OEM bag.  I have put a few thousand miles on it.  for me it is good for daily use, though I find it a little small if I am in tourist mode.   But it fits between the bars and stays in place and that is a beautiful thing.  :bmwsmile

I thought it might be a Cortech. I just bought the big brother to yours but have not put it on the bike yet. I am considering some mods so that it can mount to a base from an OEM bag.   The problem is I still have to find a used base for a reasonable price.

Picked up a '97 K1100LT. I've got some work to do on it, to make it a sweet ride. I'm loving it!

So here is my pride and joy. 1st ever bike, a '92 75RT sporting a modest Tracy fairing. Found it through a wise codger locally who just happens to be a member here, Mr. Ned37. Purchased with 65k on the clock back in August and has 71k on it now. Currently getting ready for a 2,500 mile BBQ run to Luling TX.  :riding:

WayneDW: custom job by PO (there is a OEM Blue bike underneath that red). Per PO, the paint is ppg basecoat deltron 200o dbc maroon 74946. I think this color is called "Garnet Red Mica" on Kia's and is also really close to the red used in mid 2000's Honda Civics.

Just joined the forum recently and introduced myself on the front porch.  Here's the bike I'm babysitting (and maybe buying).  I'm currently trying to resolve some electrical issues with this fine machine.

Here is my new to me K1100LT bought this fall before I deployed, have had it out 6-7 times this year already.

Now that's rich. I was in the dealership a last summer picking up parts (new hoses, cables, etc) and looked at your bike in the showroom.

Nice rig!

Need to get some better shots. Here's the day I bought it 3 weeks ago about 10 minutes after I got it off the trailer. I had rode it about 45ft LOL   Put 130 miles on it now.
Its a 95 K1100lt paint code 707 Morea Green.

Love those K1s in the ketchup and mustard paint.  Maybe I just have had mental lapse every time I have seen a K1, butI don't ever remember seeing that small black rack on the tailpiece before. Is that normal or is that an option?

I'm not sure.  It must be a period accessory.  On the other hand, I've often seen them with a cover over the passenger portion that serves as a sort of low backrest.  If I buy this bike I'll be looking for one.

Hope the price is right, cos I'd buy it if it was. I subscribe to a UK classic bike mag and this model is appreciating handsomely, as are a lot of 'retro' bikes.
