Hi, my first post here so hello all, this is me on my 1985 K100rs race bike currently being campaigned in the B.E.A.R.S race series here in the U.K.
Its the first season racing the K100 after building it this winter and even with a few teething problems we are 3rd in the championship and the bike makes a fine racer! You can see more on our website www.bskspeedworks.co.uk or www.oldracer.co.uk

What make is that exhaust system?  It's gorgeous.   Does running the wide rear wheel on the monolever cause the front and rear wheels to be offset in relation to each other?

Deadhorse, Prudhoe Bay, Alaska, 2010.

And to my surprise I noticed this in the latest Aerostich catalog:

grew up in Alaska so naturally my first question is: they let you ride the haul road?! :) must have been a stunning ride, beautiful country all the way up.

Sadly, this is not mine, but someone's at my school. It's a VERY nice K75S.
I've never met the guy that owns it, but I've seen/heard him pass a few times. (I can pick out a K engine from a quarter mile now haha)
I can get more pics next time I see it if you guys are interested.

Hey guys, longtime motorcycle rider, new to K bikes. I've had quite a few Airheads. I recently picked up this 85 K100 for dirt cheap I think ($1400).  Now...promise you won't laugh at me, please....
Witness: THE PURPLE DRAGON!

It's a 45k mile bike, in nice shape overall. I'm looking for a new seat asap btw.  I'll be cruising the forum for advice and fixing lots of little things.
Now go ahead for comments on the 'custom' paint..  :hehehe

The exhaust is handmade but using the original header pipes. With a 5" 160 rear fitted as tight to the right as possible (about 2mm between the tyre and the swingarm)  its inline.

What's that cover over the Hall Effect sensor?

That looks like a wicked K100..... :2thumbup:

Thanks Frankenduck,
We remove the hall sensor and fit a trigger wheel and sensor for the programable ecu, the wheel is outside the timing cover hence the cover.

This one isn't mine.... I just came across some pics I took at a show in Rhinebeck, NY two summers ago.

Wish I could tell you something about this machine, but I just don't know. I think it was for sale but I'm not even sure about that. I love the aluminum bodywork to match the aluminum tank, the rearsets, the exhaust, the strap-ons, and how far the front end is lowered.

My first ever bike ~ wish me luck, both riding and in end to end maintenance. Following all the good write-ups and manuals I have discovered here!

Thanks again to all . . .
