Intake boot clamp source?
« on: September 10, 2025, 01:43:28 PM »
May I please have source recommendations to secure the rubber boots between the airbox and throttle bodies?
I'd rather not go back with the OEM Oerliker clamps, since they seem to be one-time use.
As I measured last night, the worm clamps need to be 7mm wide, and 42mm for one side, and 50mm for the other.

Didn't check carefully enough when I ordered these, since they're 12mm wide: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CJV9BBJ7?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1

FYI, zip-ties/tie-clamps can leak, and look like lots of other problems, sending you on a wild goose chase. Ask me how I know. :-\

T-bolt hose clamps, stainless. Also aestheticly more appealing.
Or Google for intake manifold clamps and the wanted mm's

If you put the worm drives on the back you get a very clean look.

SKU FUA60940-2 from motorworks are what I used thought that can get a bit pricey and most certainly cheaper from somewhere else since they're just generic clamps.

The clamps from McMaster-Carr came today, 10 pack was $20.01. I have two Bricks that need new clamps, so got 2-10 packs. With shipping it was $54 in the US.

Pictures show the box they came in, if you want to source separately. Also attempted to show the fit in the upper and lower boot slots.
