I am going to attach several brackets that I've designed for my k1100 here in case anyone wants to use them for their own builds. I am also willing to help people with art for additional brackets to add to this resource. Just PM with a bracket you need and I'll try to help you with a file for it.
All of these brackets can be sent to any shop that cuts sheet metal with CNC equipment. Laser cutting is best for tight tolerance, but water jet cutting will probably also work for most of these. It might be possible to extrude these vector objects with 3d software for 3d printing.
If you are in the US, you can upload these files to sendcutsend.com and they can cut you parts. Their prices aren't too bad, and if you do a few different brackets at once, you'll avoid their minimum order fees. They also have a wide range of available materials in all sorts of thicknesses. They can do bends, bosses, threading, finishes, etc. Check them out.
Please bear with me as I post these little by little. I will try to add a photo of my installed bracket to each, though I may need to come back and add some photos.
Look for the ZIP files on each comment
I highly recommend printing these out at real size and test fitting on your bike to ensure they do what you need them to do. You can open eps files with adobe acrobat, hit print, check the box for "print actual size", and print it out.
i use sendcutsend.com for my brackets. Its fast and reasonably cheap. Best to order multiple brackets at once to save on minimums fees.
