Deoxit D5 as preventive maintenance?

Hi!
i would like to know your opinion on the Deoxit D5 as preventive maintenance.
I'm slowly reassembly my bike, and i don't know if it's good to apply to every connection the next procedure:
1.Compressed air
2.Deoxit 5
3. 4 or 5 actuations ( plug unplug)
4. Compressed air to liberate the excess
Or i just need to do that to the ones that "i've doubt in the proper electrical transmission"...

I usually do #2 and #3. No need for air. When the Deoxit "dries" it leaves a very thin film that will protect the connection.
On the lugs that make ground connections on the frame and transmission I will polish them with very fine sandpaper or a wire brush and wipe them with a very light coat of grease on a rag to slow down corrosion. You should not be able to see the grease on the lug and barely feel it. That is all it takes to protect the connection.
