Riding my fairly new-to-me '92 K100RS16v on Monday, the clutch lever all of a sudden felt... loose. About 3/4 mile from my home, shifting started to be a bit harsh. Babied it home and noticed my cable has broken at the shifter, all but one or two strands...

So, two cables on order. Due to arrive Tuesday.
Why is it I want to go to the hardware store, get 80" of cable, two cable ends, and just run that, and keep the real cables as spares... :giggles
I may just do that...
Serious question, did you lube the cable afterwards, when you ran it for 20k miles or so?
