I'm about to do some farm fabrication. Should I disconnect anything else besides the ECU and the battery?

Keep the welders earth lead as close as possible to where you are welding. Not sure what else.

Disconnect the ICU under the tank and possibly the gauge cluster as well. Also ABS unit in the tail if you have one.

I disconnected my battery ground only when I welded on mine with no ill effects

Disconnected the ECU, battery, and the lunch box and no problems. Thanks again everyone!
