K100 RT OEM travel trunk top case
« on: December 29, 2025, 11:00:00 AM »
Will someone please share pictures of what their K100 RT, factory travel trunk / top cases look like?
My 1985 K100 RT has side cases, which I believe are 25L "City Cases", and I'm looking for additional storage.
First choice would be OEM options. Next would be Givi or some similar reputable supplier, along with how they would mount to the OEM RT rack.
Thank you.

Those are Gen III side cases on your Brick—the largest of the classic Brick side cases. BMW "City" side cases are not as wide or deep and have much less capacity.

The parts fiche is showing a 22L top case for your bike.  Here is my 1985 K100RS with one. If you want more images of it, just let me know.

I don't know what WAS available non-OEM for your bike, but someone here might know.

And some other information regarding stock OEM BMW tragkorbs.
