Seat options on hacked frame (courtesy of of PO)

Howdy all,

The the PO on my 92 k100rs did some mods on the frame.  As you can see the rear of the subframe was hacked off which doesn't really bother me...the problem is that it looks like they welded a 2-3 inch piece on there and mounted a rear frame section to that.  On top of that, the whole "custom seat" is fiberglassed to the frame so it can't be removed without destroying the glass.
I'd really like to put a different seat on there, something flat and simple but I'm going to have to go all in when I change it as the fiberglass will have to be pulled off.
Any thoughts on what my options are using the existing frame points? I'm hoping that they used the old rear cross member from the subframe for this back job.
Other than the seat I'm pretty happy with the ol' brick.

Take a look in the Projects section, Elliot. Many bikes in there have chopped frames with custom seat modifications. You can personal message the builder when you see something that interests you.

You have an interesting-looking bike. Good luck with it.

Thanks Laitch.  I'm keeping my eyes peeled for someone with a similar set up.
