You don't know that unless you measured its output with a meter. Cheer up! Before you know it, you'll be back out there cursing the legions of thoughtless human units imperiling your ride.
It came straight from Shorai's customer service, the first one I got was damaged from shipping, so they RMA'ed, they say they test em', so not sure how it couldn't be perfect basically, but I guess stranger things have happened...
¯\_(ツ)_/¯@kioolt interesting, good to know, I'll check on that tomorrow then, thanks for the tip! As for the polarity, it's wired up just like the old monstrous lead acid one was, and that was working normally then as well, so not sure how that could be an issue.
EDIT: sorry @johnny re "how was this thing running b4 the new battery and what has been done to it recently..."; it was "serviced" by the shop I bought it from in SF, but otherwise I don't really know too much, there's a full service history with a lot of things that were done to it at 45k miles, it's at 50k now, but I don't have that handy at the moment. Actually another thing I've been worrying about is the splines, not quite sure when last they were done... Anyway I can assume it was serviced correctly though, the shop has an excellent reputation for good and honest work.
