Iowa has a new k100 rider
« on: April 02, 2017, 08:56:54 AM »
My search, over.  Got my new motor baby home yesterday.

1985 BMW K100 with 26k.  Brought it home during the window in the bad weather yesterday, 60 mile ride.  Ran like a sewing machine.

Really stoked to get my riding skills and confidence back up to par (14 years since last bike).  Then some summer rides.

What about it?
Need one. All the paint is off the buttons.  I can figure a few out.

There's a K75 Rider's Manual available for download here from the Technical Library Index. The K100 and K75 share the same control types, equipment layouts, and starting procedures. There is also a K100 workshop manual in the index, too.
