Newbie from Hungary

Hello everyone!
I'm Zoltan from Hungary, and I just got a 1993 K1100LT. I plan to build Cafe Racer.
This is a winter project till I will use it. Surprise for me what a good feeling to drive this old machine. Over the first couple hundred kms a I like it so much.

That is a unique bike, Kzozee. If its condition is as good as it looks here, you should consider preserving it. You might come to that understanding by next winter anyway. These bikes stay in good condition by being ridden far and ridden often.  Do that!   

I hope you get much use from it. Thanks for posting the photos.

Welcome Zoltan,
You have a great example of a Brick.The value is  hidden in the useful function of the original design.
Wait until you crash it before you start your conversion or get someone else to crash it but delay that crash for as long as possible. :riding:

Definitely a Brick that deserves to be preserved, you have awesome example of a great bike. Please find something with crap bodywork to make into a coffee racer.

Or turn the bodywork into crap on your own, like the Dude suggests.

Originally, I thought so. However, so far all my bike bought as new. I ride a lot, that' why replace offen them. (2003 BMW C1, 2004 BMW F650GS, 2005.BMW R1200GS, 2007 BMW R1200 GSA, 2010 BMW R1200GSA, 2012 BMW R1200GSA, 2014 BMW K1600 GTL, 2015 BMW R1200 GSA). After K1600 unfortunately no longer liked it so much the GSA. It seems to be getting old :-(
Frankly, I was terrified take used motorcycle and this moreover 24-year-old.
I was excited when I first sat on. Then I got home (last Friday), which was 110 km.
Than next day I drive more 250. Surprise, really like it.
The brake and the front forks slightly different than what I do, but I like it overall.
Worse conditions would not be reluctant to build, but started looking an even better, what if I find I keep in original condition for a collector piece.
