Replace stereo k1100lt

One of the output channels in my original clarion stereo is not working. If I replace it how can I get the control switched on the handlebars to work? Or should I try to fix it? Thanks.

On second thoughts, maybe I should just remove the stereo and speakers... Why the hell do I need stereo on a motorbike in the 21st century?
The fairing would be lighter and more solid I guess.

I would not repair such an old unit and I seriously doubt any new unit could utilize the Controls designed for the Clarion. But I know nothing about stereo systems.
I suggest go modern and Bluetooth
