Handle bar angle(outward)

Hello from the land down under, i was wondering if anyone had done any adjustments to the angle of their bars, i find on long rides my wrists get sore because they are facing outward. Im 6'4 and have redone the seat up and back + added risers but the angle gets me. Any ideas would be appreciated

Hoffy add the model of your bike and location in OZ. You can change the angle of your bars, but you will then have to loosen the clutch and brake units and rotate them. But you may have to lengthen your brake hose if you move them too much. You can also swap handle bars depending on what brick you have.

What model do you have? Bars can get changed on K bikes and they may have been changed on yours. A picture would help.

But you can usually rotate the bars and feel a big difference. I marked where mine where and rotated them just a couple degrees...forward I think. I would go tingly after maybe an hour before but with a slight adjustment I can go all day and not get numb or tingly.

It usually doesn't take much rotation one way or the other, hoffy, to get some relief. Just adjust the perches to compensate, as Martin has indicated.

Thanks for all the input guys, ive got risers on so ive already lengthened the brake and clutch lines. Only thing I can think of doing is to flatten the bars out or cut them in the middle and reweld them. So now that ive updated my profile, thanks for help there guys. Im normal going through here on Tapatalk.

Can you give us a closer photo showing the position that is causing you discomfort, hoffy? Photos from the side and riders position would be useful.

RT bars will fit K75s but longer cables and brake hose needed.What bike are you on?
