1986 K75 C
« on: December 25, 2016, 05:14:25 PM »
Hi All,
I'm a new forum member. I've had many (modern) bikes in the past, but now love my older classic BMW's.
I live in Sydney Australia.
Attached is a photo of my 1986 K75 along with my 1982 R80 ST.
Cheers,
Beat

Thanks. And talking about colour coordination... even goes well with my 3rd old vehicle, a 1986 E28 M535i...
Apologies if I was naughty to post a car picture in the motobrick forum... at least it's also a BMW.
I seem to have a liking for classic red BMW's  :hehehe

Ya', you're spoiled.  A warm welcome from a slightly cooler Canada....although we may break a record today here in Hamilton heading for a high of 11C with lots of rain. Rode on Christmas eve, hope to ride tomorrow.

Luv the ST!  Your K75 windshield looks like it's from a K75T, nice little package BMWNA added to the C back in 86.  Nice car too, back from when Bimmers actually were more than just a status statement.

@Chaos: Yes, when I've purchased the K75 it came with the "touring" screen and with the "normal" K75 cockpit fairing. It also has the LT handlebars fitted (which I prefer). I don't like the touring screen though, since the photo I've removed the screen from the R80 and put it on the K75 instead of the large screen.

Welcome Beat!

Yours looks like it could be a close cousin to mine.
Be sure to post another photo with your cockpit fairing installed.

Do you still have the color code sticker under the seat?
I'm sporting 632 Red on mine.

Mine is Hanna Red (but sticker is missing).
Here are the different faces of my K75. I prefer the naked look, and using the smaller screen (which I used to have on my R80) works perfectly.
