K100RS windshield
« on: September 17, 2016, 01:07:39 PM »
I've got an '86 K100RS, and there is a fair amount of wind buffeting on my helmet above the windshield.  I'm 6' tall.  I've seen these curved windshields that look like they might deflect more air above the helmet.  Anyone know the make?

Thanks!  That's kinda pricey, but that's it.

i have aeroflow for my K75s.   works great, but in the summer...a little too well.  bought a stock windshield new.  kinda pricey, but MUCH better for airflow in warm weather.

I bought some Lexan and made a DIY windscreen. $15. Disposable, works perfect. Cut to your own custom height. If anything, it's a cheap experiment to get the exact height you need.
Take the old screen off, measure, hit the big box home center and buy some pre-cut Lexan. Bend it on the fairing and mark the holes. etc.

Lexan takes a good bird or rock strike without breaking.
