'86 K75S/'90 K75RT engine swap

Found a crashed, low mileage 1986 K75C that I would like to buy for the motor. Is it a direct replacement for my (Non ABS) 1990 K75RT? I realize the rear wheel/brake is different but would separate the motor from transmission and install it with its original injection setup, ignition, etc. Also, if the trans is the same can I swap them as a unit and just replace the swing arm, drive shaft and wheel, or maybe just the wheel/brake assembly? All the bodywork is removed from my RT and it's been somewhat of a cafe bike, lately. Any advice is appreciated.

The two models share the same part numbers for the engine, transmission and driveshaft. This suggests that you can use all three of those components for your RT.  The swing arms have differing numbers.

Be sure that the locating dowels for mating the transmission to the engine housing are in place as per this bulletin.
