« on: June 02, 2016, 03:16:12 PM »
so, as the title says, i have a 1994 k75 with about 50k miles which has a worn drive shaft
wear on the final drive side that is.

some pictures at the following link:

has anyone used one of these?:

saw a rumor somewhere that they are better than the bmw oem part.

thanks all
sincerely,

also, a little hard to see in those photos but there is a very slight ridge on the spines on the final drive too
from the worn splines on drive shaft.. should i replace final drive too?  or at least the input splines?

I view the rear drive splines as be severely worn and some of sawtooth tips ready to break off under load from a new drive shaft.
