Tuco, always a little sad to pack 'er away for the winter. Kinda like closing the cottage for the season! I am very aware of the black ice issue. My son's buddy (16) went down on his sport bike just last week. He's OK...fairing not so good. I think we all keep a close eye on road conditions. If the sun can get to the black top we are good to go. Best to err on the side of caution...take care. It won't be long now. :riding:

I also have an old Yam XT550 that I'll ride on the clear days (which are few around here this time of year) for when I get to needing a ride.

Been some unusually good weather in these parts the past couple weeks, bright sun and temps of 50+ F. I haven't been able to do any long rides, but have been using the RT for errands. Getting in 20 -30 miles at a time. Couple more good days later this week so might get a few December rides in. Last year I was watching 7 feet of snow slowly melt at this time.

led an eclectic group of german machinery on a 170mi ride/drive on some twisty roads in NOVA west of DC. coffee, gas burning and lunch on a beautiful day. 65deg in December!

Closing in on 10.5 on the rear Shinko now. Just finally erased the center groove. Rear tire has been in hand for a month, will be changing as part of winter maintenance festivities.

These bikes are photogenic aren't they.

Lovely pics all. I hope to contribute soon. But this morning I rode the K75s 100 miles to LAX and split lanes in the dark for the second half of it. And dang, it was chilly this morning 37 degrees (F) - 5 degrees till freezing.

God damned nearly had a heart attack until I saw the not!!

I even like some of the cafe's but that's just gorgeous. I was about ready to demand you swap with my naked shorty model before you hack that thing up.

I thought the fairings looked a bit silly and dated when I first bought my k75, but after putting 6K mostly highway miles with just an after market windscreen on my naked bike, I wish I had that big ole shield in front!

Nice sunny afternoon ride to blast the cobwebs out and dry the 2k Clear Coat that I sprayed on last night.....Probably not the most sensible thing to do on my new paint work but I couldn't help my self......Loving my Brick!! P.S. No damage done to paint it looking spot on still
