Mjonøy Norway ~ Furnace Shed Bread & Burgers
« on: August 14, 2011, 03:13:30 PM »
So my first trip of any substance went Oslo-Bergen this saturday, and back the following day. In excess of 500 km each way of twisties, mountains and fjords. At lunch-time saturday I happened upon a place that looked promising for lunch. They had their own furnace-style self-service bakery in a small shed:

...and where presumably they baked the buns for this:

They apologized they didn't have burgers ready made so they had to take a few extra minutes to make this one fresh. I didn't mind.

Scanda-moto-burger.  Looks good.  Johnny's gonna be jealous.
Once I had a Collie pup. Dug a hole and covered him up. Now I sit there by the hour. Waiting for a Collie-flower.
