Screen for K100

I wondered where to get a screen like the one shown on this bike
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-k75-1987/291732034278?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D35391%26meid%3D49a9664fba0e44f8ba353798f7d86e25%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D131773787390
Was it a BMW accessory and if not who made or makes it .
Anyone got one and how do they perform?

It looks like a BMW stock windshield that was offered as an accessory. Without all the fasteners, it's part 46 63 2 303 245.

Why do you presume that? I found it on MAXBMW's parts fiche for a few hundred bucks if you buy all the hardware for it and there was no
NA
next to it.

I have a complete unit sitting in the basement - but unfortunately I'm in Canada and you're in the UK. There's that small problem of an ocean and a tax greedy government in between.

I suspect you are right RBM that it would not be worth shipping it .
We also have the Royal mail taking a hefty slice in order to collect customs duties .
My daughter bought a trinket online . Customs charges were just over a pound . Handling charge for collecting was twelve pounds .
