Looks like it's getting some work done on it.  That a CX500 in your avatar?  Always wanted one of those after I saw  one back in the 70's.

Odly enough though i meet a lot of people on Beemers now that used to ride CX500's heee in Holland so there seem to be parallels somewhere.... Nice workshop, clean and roomy, i've got workshop envy! What style are you aiming for? Good luck with the build!

Thanks Dennis de Vries! It is a perfect space. My uncle owns an auto shop and he's opened up his doors to my motorcycle restoration business. I've got mostly old Japanese bikes here, but the K is quickly becoming a personal favorite.
I've always loved the cx bikes but BMW's have always appealed to me. I like to think the common denominator is good taste ;). I'd call the aesthetic "clean industrial" i guess. I prefer for every build to speak for itself though because they are each very different. Kind of a a brat/cafe hybrid. Most of the bikes I build are hard-tailed, low bars, and relatively stripped down. Thanks!

Watch yourself with those CXs. They might make you get a big-block Moto Guzzi one day...

+1 on workshop envy.

That's a clever repurposing of a bicycle milk crate hold-down.

Honda CX, a water cooled Guzzi with Japanese quality.  Just stock up on stators as I hear that is the crux part and issue for the CX

Haha. Necessity is the mother of invention they say. Happy to report that its improved since the photo was taken.

And yeah, i'm not unfamiliar with the triple bypass. Stator, cam chain, and mech seal are notorious points of failure on these bikes. But once theyre done, its another 50k miles. Worth it all day ;)
