« on: March 16, 2016, 08:23:14 PM »
Hello, i am looking at making a k100 into a more modern of a machine, and I know i want a LED speedo, but the task of taking the oem wiring and wiring them into a new speedo seems daugnting, I am very nervous and before i pull the trigger i figured i would post up here to see what tasks are necessary to complete this portion of the project.  :bmwsmile

Speedo I am looking at= http://www.bikebandit.com/aftermarket-parts/motorcycle-electrical-parts/gauges-indicators-universal/koso-db-01r-multi-function-electronic-speedometer

Several members here have done it and updated other instruments.  As a new member may I suggest browsing around through the various sub forums and read a lot of them.  When I joined it took a weekend to catchup on K-bikes.

A good place to start is here http://www.motobrick.com/index.php/topic,666.0.html  scroll down to modifications and read on !  Member rbm has done a lot on this and you can see it here  http://www.motobrick.com/index.php/topic,3421.0.html

Welcome to bricks
