Mates blue K100 which he says always starts has probably gone out in sympathy with the black RT 75. It was cranking with a little cough but would not run. An AH HAAA moment checked the 4 pin connector to the fuel pump, on looking it had already had the female pin pushed in a bit. he checked the supply to the pump which was OK. He then checked the pump with an ohmeter , apparently that checked OK. I suggested running an alternate power supply direct, on doing so there is a little click as pump moves ever so slightly, so tried reversing the pump am got the same result. We have a pump that is suspect, in that last time we tried it on the black RT 75 it blew a fuse. Next week I think we should pull both pumps ( Blue bike & red bike) and have a good look at them, failing that I have seen an in tank Ford Falcon pump the he has, that might fit with modifications. The one good thing is that even though he is in a lot of pain, his spirits seem to pickup while we are sorting out these problems. He started discussing the problems with his gold K75s :yow, but as this is fairing work and I know nothing about fibreglass he will have to sort it out when he recovers, big sigh.
