I'm appalled at yesterdays horrifying attacks in Oslo, I'm sure all of us here at Motobrick send our condolences to the nation as a whole, but especially to all who suffered, what is this world coming to when a peace loving nation like Norway suffers like this?

It's beyond my comprehension, I was utterly appaled.
I recall something I read once and it went "Why do madmen do anything it's because theyr'e madmen thats why".

Usually they kill themselves but this one is alive and someone may be able to figure it out but somehow I doubt it.

This appears to be simply a xenophobic nutcase who felt that others needed to experience the terror he felt. Unfortunately also with the wits to plan and execute this sad act. He surrendered immediately to the police, btw.

I read blog where some nitwit blamed Norway for not protecting it's people from terrorists.  How could you protect against something so incomprehensible?  Sadly, the most disconcerting thing to me is that it happened in a country like Norway, I'd expect it in the USA with the political polarization we have now.

There are sick homicidal nutjobs is every country.

I hope there's a special place in hell for this one.

The notion that the country is more polarized than some mythical point in the past full of unicorns and rainbows is poppycock.  That's just crap that talking heads on TV and politicians like to spew.
