Hey there!
My name is Ilias, and I've been a car driver many years. I have liked motorcycles but never had one. Anyway, last summer I took my license and I have found this beauty

It's an 1990 K75s. "S" on the frame plate, bars and riding position but not on the front part. I am the third owner and the motorcycle has about 100.000 km on those 25 years of her life so how knows what happened with the front light and fairing. My mechanic says that it's ok so I believe him.
I know, it's maybe too much for a first motorcycle but to tell the truth, as long as you don't push it it's very forgiving and smooth. The only thing that bothers me with my K75 is the low speed handling. But I know, it's not the bike, it's me. Practice and patience and we will be there. It's a heavy touring model after all, not a moped... 
I have never had so good knowledge on BMW motorcycle models of the past years and in Greece the K models are not so popular. So now, after some reading on this forum I know that I will have a great opportunity to find answers and support to any question that might bother me in the future!
My plan (if and when I will have the ability - cash to do it) is to make her as it was, an S model.

Did you check the VIN to see if it is an "S"?  Ez to see if it is.

Welcome from the other side of Europe. Yes, a K75 is a bit of a handful for a first bike and the low speed handling can be difficult at first. Find an empty car park to practice in, make sure you stay off the front brake, just use the back brake really smoothly at low speeds and you will gain confidence quickly.

mlytle yes, I have checked the vin on a vin decoder site, it's a K75S, made on 09/1989.
Glacial, thank's, I am on it. The thing s that I am slooowww on the road, but I will do it! :riding:

Welcome, take your time getting to know your bike.  The k75 is one of the nicest motorcycles ever made.

I was not aware of the K series so much, I knew only the newer versions (far out of my range money wise).
The more I read about this motorcycle the more I feel very lucky of my choose to buy it!

The previous owner painted the bike on a very nice color, with metallic flakes. It is changing from dar grey to brown depending on the light. The radiator cover on the other hand is silver, maybe because the bike as I think (from the VIN) started it's life as an S model. So I guess that they installed this part from another bike, I don't think that the S model came with a round front light ever, maybe a more experienced member can help on this. Anyway... To tell the truth I want to repaint her because of two reasons:
1st, she spend a lot of her life in Athens, under hot sun and the black on the motor and transmission is faded on some points and
2nd, there are dents on the main color. Also its not well painted, I can see the original blue color on many points.
