Has anyone fitted a mechanical speedo drive to either the gearbox or front wheel of a K100 :mm

Gertie almost anything is possible, but you would have to find a suitable front wheel & brake set  up with a speedo drive. It's a lot of work when you could just use an electronic speedo, and attach a magnet to your front wheel.Or go to RBM's posts he is working on away to amplify the BMWs signals to drive an after market speedo. Can I ask why you wish to do this.
