Has anyone had any success using 3D printers to create replacement parts?
My K100RT 1984 has a cracked and chipped black dashboard. It is relatively thin and poorly made (not very strong and prone to damage).
I am wondering if it can be duplicated with a 3D printer (there is one at the school I work at) - or is this going too far? Perhaps the shape of the piece is problematic (thin and curvey).
Perhaps someone (preferably in Australia) has one to sell.
Any thoughts anyone?
