Fun with ABS 1 Control Units
« on: July 11, 2011, 05:49:49 PM »
Doing a little digging around ABS 1 options and came across ModuleMaster.com using some extreme web Search Fu. Their testimonial page includes a happy K1100 owner from 2005 so I've sent a note asking if they still work on these things. Also came across the following on their site: http://modulemaster.com/en/abs/all_modules.php

Any ideas what the bobbin looking parts might be? Their rebuild description includes "cleaning" ... wonder if pulling mine apart and hitting it with a blast of CRC electric love might be worthwhile.

Thoughts?

Open it up first to see if there's any water damage.  That can be an issue with the 4V ABS I.  IF there's water damage then it's toast.
Once I had a Collie pup. Dug a hole and covered him up. Now I sit there by the hour. Waiting for a Collie-flower.
