1985 K100LT Parts
« on: September 28, 2015, 07:28:48 PM »
Hey All,

My K100LT is going the way of the cafe and i have some mounting hardware and other plastic parts for sale.  its an array of items, punch line is that they are all cosmetic parts. I do have two seats, one a littly rusty and torn, the other is in great shape. some of the parts will be missing screws/bolts as they are rusted and id feel uncomfortable selling them
shoot me any offers

thanks

Alex

That windshield you've got there looks pretty good.  Could you take a better picture of it and tell me what you want for it?  I'm NE of Baltimore so I would come down and pick it up.

Paint code is 605 the tail piece is good for the year, but does have a few small cracks. The side pieces are good on the face out but the mounting point did break off, but it does mount flush

Will you sell the mirrors without the main fairing?
How are the glove boxes and covers?
You can't help someone who doesn't want to hear the answer.

Keith,

I might be needing the main faring with mirrors and glove boxes.  Do you still have these items?

Thanks,

Skids, I have an extra fairing with mirrors off an RT, which is the same as LT and I have two glove boxes and lids, no key.  Down side is I am clear on the other side of the nation in Oregon, so shipping is high.  If you are interested shoot me a PM

HI Alex, I am looking for a seat lock and wondering if in your modifications you happen to have one available?I have a 93 K 75 RT and broke a piece in the lock. Trying to get a new one from BMW seems to be impossible. Thanks for your time

Hey asfralphs

I do have the lock. I'm in DC and can't do much due to snow but I'll send pics once I can get back to it

I'm interested in one or both of the seats if I can confirm that they'll fit my RS from the same year. I imagine that they would, but I hear that 1985 is an oddball year with obscure parts, and I'm new to all of this... Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks,
Janssen

i believe the 85 seats fit across the board as far as models go, but only in the 1985 year. where do you live?

I just got the better condition seat from smith here, so that's sold.  Also, it was a pleasant buying experience, so I recommend PM'ing him if you see anything here of interest.  Cheers!   bmp

Alex,

My name is Gabe and I have a 1985 RT and it just recently took a spill in my driveway during a wind storm. It did a decent amount of damage to the right side lower fairing. Any chance you have that right side lower paneling? Basically, the panels running from beside the motor block up to the mirror. If so, I'd love to see some pictures. My email is microgabe12@gmail.com. Look forward to hearing back.

Thank you,

Gabe
