Hello from Plymouth, UK
« on: September 24, 2015, 05:02:47 PM »
Hi,

Just bought this and love it.

Last bike was an R100 a couple of years ago and always fancied one of these.

First question is where do I get hold of an original screen...? Phoned Motorworks today but no luck - any suggestions welcome!

Cheers

Hello & welcome.Plenty of raised screens on offer but original hard to come by.James Sherlock & Moto-bins maybe worth a ring or they crop up from time to time on ebay.

Welcome from Cambridge, UK.
You have a great looking bike there - but I'm biased because I have a red K75S as well!

Hi Guys,

Drut - thanks, James Sherlock - just up the road from me and had never heard of them. I have sent a parts request email.

Glacial - 'If this is your mid-life crisis, you are going to live to be 114' My other half thinks I'm having a mid-life crisis as I have bought something that works and has an MOT!

Cheers

Gents:
It's a mid-life "awakening"!! Not a crisis at all. We've all decided to do what we love because no one knows what tomorrow will bring....ride on!!

Hi Guys,

Stuman - thanks but after an S screen as keeping it original.

Kris - the only crisis is that the new bike works - the last two have been in bits!

Cheers
