Give these guys a go. They are very pleasant to deal with...reasonably priced, well-made products. They are a small family business (I believe..or at least a small business) swimming against a tide of monster corporations. Lots of info just a phone call away. I used the spline lube and crankcase additive.

Looks like Guard Dog won't be around much longer. Quite a shame. I just got back into riding and found out about them while researching spline lubes. With GD-525 gone in a month, the search for the next holy grail of spline lubes will commence in earnest....

Announcement

Regretfully, Guard Dog Moly Lubricants, Inc. will cease business on July 31, 2016. I am well over the age of retirement and do not have a buyer for Guard Dog.

I would like to thank the over 1,400 customers who have bought and praised our products since 2003.

We will continue to fill orders while supplies last.

Sincerely,

James B. Mathes

We are all fallen from the Garden, jo, granted—some more than others. It's an appealing color though.

I think Mr. and Mrs. Swep have created a promising product regardless of whether they're canadican infiltrators masquerading as Texans in a plot that spans generations.

Here is a link where you can buy molybdenum disulfide powder.  I mix my own gear oil and bearing grease with the powder.  I use 6 tsp. per quart, so the 4 oz can will last a long time, use the super fine grade powder.

+1 on mixing molybdenum disulfide powder with your transmission and final drive oils.  I use 0.1micron powder and get mine on eBay.  An ounce will do at least three bikes.  I use two heaping tablespoons in the trans and 1 in the final drive.  Does a nice job of making the shifting silky smooth and positive.

Don't put it in the engine oil unless you want to have sprag problems.  The stuff is too slippery for that.

I have already gotten 16 oz. of the supervise stuff and managed to get the large GuardDog Moly befoe they closed their doors.

When I swap out my tranny and add the Paralever to my '85 K I will utilize them both.
