The Cinderblock
« on: August 27, 2015, 12:02:13 PM »
Hey everyone, I am the new guy here from Oklahoma. I picked up a brick the other day for a little bit of nothing and decided it would be a fun project. A buddy of mine who has been itching to get 2 wheels under him decided this would be his bike. Besides being dirty and leaky, it runs very well. I am not really sure of the direction we are going but it should be fun. I'll throw some crappy iphone pics up so you can have an idea of what I am dealing with. Let me know if there is anything I should do or not do and I really appreciate criticism so don't be shy. Thanks in advance!  :riding:

These bikes look so good in black. Good luck on your build.

The bike is actually a really dark green. I know that we are going to paint and powder coat quite a bit on it though. I would like to stick with green but maybe a little lighter color.

After a long weekend of being around dirt bikes and other various two wheel machines, I was finally able to get in the shop last night. I didnt really have a plan when I started this thing but to strip it, add some cool stuff and make it fast.. I had to remove the back rest of the tail to send to Hersey today and I just kind of set the tail back on the bike and my friend noticed it looked kind of cool. We ended up messing with it a bit and ran out of time.. As soon as I pull up motobrick this morning I opened doc's thread and realized I am not the only one with this break through lol...  :musicboohoo: O well. I did get the exhaust pulled off before I left and noticed that these bikes need a sound killer realllll bad. I don't know about the front headlight yet so I am just throwing ideas around at this point. Thanks for reading!
