Fillister-head screw : M8X35
ZNS
: BMW# 07119901027
That the BMW part for the muffler clamp screw on K75's.
Anybody know what
ZNS
means?
The internet doesn't seem to have answers. Wonder if it's a heat rating.

Probably zinc plated, for corrosion resistance in that application. ZnS is chemical designation for Zinc Sulphate.

Could be. A lot of the BMW hardware has that dull gray finish. I wonder if that is a hot dipped galvanized finish. Never seen it anywhere besides nuts and bolts on the bike.

Probably electroplated. Too smooth for hot dip unless there is a process I haven't heard of.
