Any one know how to operate the 'Fuel Plus' computer?

My new to me 1996 K1000RS has a few nice farkles, added on by a previous owner, but one especially looks like it is a unique item.

Right where my owners manual says I should have a digital clock, I have something labelled "Fuel Plus +".  A little google work tells me that this is a nifty little mileage/fuel consumption computer thing that apparently was, at one time, just the coolest thing ever.  Okay, great.

So how do I work the damn thing?  I have tried my google-fu damnedest and can't find instructions.  The guy (yes, apparently one guy) who made them no longer is in business, and the website name is now being used by another company doing a completely different business.

Does anyone else have one of these?  Better question, does anyone know how to work the darn thing?  And yes, this bike only has 6,440 miles on it!!   :clap:

I have the fuel +2, on my '95, not sure what the differences are other than my display is a stand-alone unit and not integrated with the clock.
Let me do a little poking around and see if I have my instructions in electronic format. I might even have Dave's phone # if you want to try and call him.


I'm on the trail of a copy of the older version too. Then I can put together a library archive file for all to access....

Thanks Larry, I'll add it to the docs I have for the FP 4.0 and post it to the library..
