I received a PM from RicK G on K100 forum on May 3rd saying Drake dropped off the site and has been gone a long time. He's also missing from K11OG and here.

He has ALWAYS returned my phone calls...this time nothing after 3 attempts.

He's not returning emails or PM's either.

I am now very concerned about Drake.

FYI Drake is a hard core alcoholic. I know this from spending time in his company. I just thought he was in the bottle so deep he didn't know what was going on.

He lost his father last year and hasn't been the same since.

Is there anyone that knows what's going on or who is close enough to the PNW that could check up on him?

.

Let's leave aside rumors. Who knows anything about Drake?

When a friend and fellow rider is missing, jokes are in poor taste.

My RS wouldn't be same either, he has done several mods & upgrades for me.  I sent him an email over a month ago about getting together again to ride in southern CA., haven't gotten a reply.  He always replied to an email.  Prayers that he surfaces soon.

Just looked at this thread... I had a very good experience dealing with him, he helped me out a lot with advice about several of my K75 difficulties. I have lost parents and a spouse, and know from personal experience that those are very troubling times in life. Good to hear that others are concerned, unfortunately don't live close enough to check it out, hope he is OK.

Well, dropping off the grid is good for the soul every once in a while. Glad to hear he's OK, thanks for the update...

Looks like Drake let his domain classickbikes.com expire.

That said, he seems to be posting on the K1100 forum again. That's good news for motobrickers everywhere.

Sure would love to see him start running kbikeparts.com again..,what a resource that was! It is still up but still no update in many many moons.

I mentioned the expired classicbikes domain to Johnny a few weeks ago.  He's copied the content so, with work, it could be made available again.

Classickbikes.com content was all marked as copyrighted by Drake -- I don't think it would be ethical to republish that content. Drake's content on this forum is shared content I guess...but the classickbikes.com content is Drake's property and I think it should be up to him and him alone what happens to it.

If you follow links on that page to the second or third level you find no content, so it would be valuable to republish.
