Returnee
« on: April 24, 2015, 04:17:37 AM »
Hello, I'm back again having just bought a K100 with less than 15,000 miles on the clock.  It runs nice and quiet but will need loads of work due to the amount of time it's been stood.  Surprisingly the brakes still work but I expect there's a load of crystallized fluid in there, and the tyres look like they've been on there a while!  When I get it home one of the first jobs will be to remove the Rickman fairing, as I've never got on with big fairings.  It's also leaking from the oil pump and the clutch bell housing.  But I think it'll be worth it in the end.

That fairing doesn't look too bad actually. I've yet to come across one in Google Images but it has to be better looking than a Vetter Windjammer on a K

Interesting bike.  Looks like an 85 with a K75 low seat and the rare dual gas tank option :yes :hehehe

That Rickman fairing looks nice, though it probably gets pretty toasty in the summer.
