Another "new" K75S
« on: March 10, 2015, 05:39:00 PM »
Finally got a few pics of my new [92] bike. I'm in the Okanogan Valley [18 miles from the border] , Tonasket, WA. I've been without a ride since I MOVED HERE BUT am not new to BMW or bikes. Started with a Honda 90 when I was 15, then a 350, 305,750. Much later I had an R65 , then a K75c., then a Bandit1200. was looking at R1100-1150 BUT  I found this K75s and after a 2 day trip I've got it home. Has brand new Pirelli SD on the front and back. I've got a PROGRESSIVE 465 ordered, and a windscreen as mine has a cracked corner. seat is also being repaired. ABS doesn't work, but the brakes are ggreat anyway. 50k but still looks pretty good.

Congrats on the new ride. The all black does look quite cool, even though they don't go as fast as the red ones  :neener:

I have only ever driven in the Okanogan in an RV, I can imagine those roads would be a real joy on a bike.

Sweet K fo' sure. I wish I had your heated grips....must be a sign I'm getting older. Is that a throttle Meister cruise you have ? I tried a Kaoko but didn't like it...

I don't know what they are? they look good and work great , a little twist to adjust tension. just put the handlebar risers on that came with it. didn't really raise the bars, but moved them back a bit.. I think it will be more comfy. won't have to modify anything but the instrument panel. I think I'll have to take the metal rackets off and just tie wrap it on.
