mini air compressor
« on: February 14, 2015, 08:19:11 AM »
after much web browsing, review reading and component analysis, all for a product i hope i never have to use, I purchased the MotoPumps mini inflator.
I bought the MiniPro deluxe for 80 dollars, you can opt for the standard (70 dollars). The difference is that with the deluxe you get neoprene tote case, additional power cords and connectors, all fused.
unit performed as expected.
unscientific test:
deflated scoot tire and inflated with minipro.
from 0 to 32 PSI took approx 3 minutes.
indicated pressure on unit gauge was 32 PSI, pressure with manual tire gauge was 30PSI and with digital gauge was 29PSI......not a big issue!
Satisfied with purchase but as stated: hope i never need it.

rodger that...

i have the mushroom kit and sticky strings... i put a mushroom in a car tior and it went the rest of its life in there over a year or two... put a mushroom in my trailor tior... it was good till i replaced it... butts i think the sticky strings are good for the moto bung... as long as they are sticky and not dried out...

however i had a hole so big last year that nothing would plug it... i could put my stinky finger in there...
