As mentioned previously, swapped out my pooched K75 trans with a K1100. Also put on a K1100 center stand. I mounted the orig K75 footpegs plates. Mounted the left one and when putting the exhaust back on and bolting it to the footpeg plate it appears the clutch lever/arm now hits the exhaust and won't completely retract also the center stand doesn't quite line up with the rubber bumper on the exhaust now either. Is it as simple as spacing out the left footpeg mount to pull the entire mount and exhaust away?
I do not have the K11 footpeg mounts so thats not an option. However when I got the used K11 trans it did have these 'spacers' that were threading into the gearbox housing. These spacers had a receiving thread for the footpeg mounting bolts. I couldn't find these spacers on K11 fiche. Anyone know of what I'm referring to? And if so, I'm thinking I'll put these back in and put the K75 foot mounts back on. Any thoughts?
