injectors
« on: January 14, 2015, 07:19:36 PM »
Ok, I switched out my stock injectors with which I was getting 40 mpg for some reconditioned four Pimentel ones from Mr injector. Big improvement in performance over the old bunked up ones. But now I'm getting 30mpg. Granted I am riding more aggressively but 30 mpg? I'll send the originals to Mr injector and then switch back. Any other ideas? Flutemanjohn

Depending on your location it could be seasonal fuel related.

Could also be that you were running a bit lean in 1 or more cylinders if the injectors were gunked up...

I talked to Mr injector and without admitting to anything he said he would clean my original injectors for free. So I'm assuming he may have heard this before. Also (with out admitting to anything) I caught that maybe the four Pintel injectors don't get the same millage as the originals. Something to think about
