idle adjustment
« on: January 03, 2015, 08:54:46 PM »
Did some research and it seems there are three ways to adjust the idle. I had the shop sync the throttle bodies but they probably adjusted the idle when the bike was cold as it's idling at around 1200 to 1500 when warmed up. How should I proceed? Thanks, Flutemanjohn

the way i do it on the 1100rs is idle it on the centerstand till the cooling fan comes on... then do the throttle body synchronization... then i adjust the idle to 1000 rpms at the handlebars where the throttle cable screws into the twisty part...

Thanks Johnny, that's a fourth and possibly the easiest way. First
